Here are Jagiellonia’s potential rivals in el. Champions League. Unfortunately

Jagiellonia Białystok celebrates the first Polish championship in the 104-year history of the club. It is already known that the team led by Adrian Siemieniec will have a difficult path in the Champions League qualifying rounds. PAOK Thessaloniki, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Sparta Prague – these are some of the possible rivals in the first two legs.

Jagiellonia Białystok’s difficult rivals already in the second round of Champions League qualifying

As a reward, Jagiellonia Białystok will play in the Champions League qualifiers for the first time in the club’s history. It is already known that the competition, which will be played under new rules from next season (there will be no group phase and will be replaced by a league system), will start with the second qualifying round. The club from Białystok will not be seeded in the draw.

Already in the first two-legged match, the Polish champions may face a very difficult opponent. Jagiellonia Białystok may be hit by, among others, for: PAOK Thessaloniki, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Sparta Prague, Malmo FF, FK Bodo/Glimt, APOEL FC and the winners of the matches from the first qualifying round. The following players will play: Ferencvaros, Qarabag FK, Slovan Liberec, Ludogorets Razgrad, HJK Helsinki, Celje and Dynamo Minsk.

Jagiellonia Białystok’s rivals may also be the Danish FC Midtjylland and the Croatian Dinamo Zagreb. However, the Danes would have to win their country’s championship, and Dinamo will join the potential rivals if Borussia Dortmund wins the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

– Jagiellonia will play in the Champions League qualifying round from the second round. Śląsk will play in the LK qualifying round, also from the second round. Both teams will be unseeded at this stage, but Jagiellonia will only need to win one two-match match to play in the league stage – wrote Jan Sikorski, an analyst of European cups at rankingefa.pl, on Twitter.

If Jagiellonia Białystok is eliminated from the Champions League, it will still have a chance in European cups – in the Europa League, and possibly also in the Europa Conference League.

The first matches of the second qualifying round of the Champions League will take place on July 23-24 and July 30-31.

Will Jagiellonia Białystok pass the second qualifying round of the Champions League?
